With the last day of school before Winter Break, always comes a party. I joined Lauren this afternoon for the festivities. Lauren's class won a visit from Cornelius the Coyote for having collected the most box tops in Kindergarten. He joined them in playing musical chairs. Then all the kids got to make a snowman frame and have a quick snack before heading home. Lauren said she would, "remember this day forever." I asked why and she said, "because I got to leave with you, instead of waiting in line and I get two whole weeks off from school."
